The aim of the study is to analyze the travel industry environment and related laws and regulations. To secure the objectivity of the research, it was analyzed using an in-depth interview method, which is one of the qualitative methods. Here are solutions to the problem of related laws according to the current travel market. Suggestions for improvement are as follows. First, laws and regulations concerning travel businesses should be amended to reflect the market environment. Second, it is urgent for some large travel agencies to establish regulations on distributing small and medium sized travel agencies. A system that is divided into wholesale and retail trade is required for the supply of travel goods. Third, Currently, the types of travel businesses are divided into domestic, outbound, and general categories. However, it is necessary for a travel agency to be treated like a foreign tourist. Fourth, tourism laws should be revised to a level that can be as a mutual understanding rather than a laws for either side. Fifth, it is necessary to strengthen the registration criteria to prevent disruption to the travel market. Sixth, the guarantee insurance or operation key money must be continued because of the number of cases of travel customers` damage. The study is to analyze and seek improvements in relevant laws and regulations relative to the rapidly changing environment of our country`s travel market. Therefore, the present study provided insight into the current domestic travel market environment, and the problems related to the relevant laws and regulations could be presented.
