On development of the apartment house inside country, an effort to expanding and linkage residential planning has been lasted by showing up introspection that residential planning led the life unit into too self-sufficiency and a city scaled residential land.
On an extension line of this effort, I recognized that a street function is very important to cause active interchange between a housing complex and housing complexes and the neighborhood street was appeared to play the function as a life space which contains resident's daily life. There is the purpose on this study to consider various theories that were influenced on a multi-family housing complex plan, clarify an appearance background for the neighborhood street by analyzing changes on residential planning and find out what influence the planning method has given to a multi-family housing complex plan.
In the process, theoretical research of considered to look for the neighborhood street' introduction background to the country.
'The Neighborhood Street' is a street where a suitable primary environments is provided for residents to get involved freely and voluntarily in doing daily life practices that were taken place in resident building, the adjacent streets, inside the building and the front yards. I researched condition of substantial scale of neighborhood street, the relationship between open space, apartment building, facilities and neighborhood street.
