This study aimed to investigate the effects of rowing ergometer training on body composition, vascular health, and fatigue stress in obese men for 8 weeks. To that end, 24 subjects were randomly assigned to two groups, the exercise group and the control group, with 12 members in each group, and then the study was conducted. Based on the data collected by pre-post measurement, the following conclusions were drawn.
First, in the body composition of obese men, there was an interactive effect on weight, body fat mass, and BMI, and the exercise group showed a large relative effect, proving the effect of rowing ergometer training. Second, an interactive effect of the exercise was shown in the vascular health of obese men. The exercise group proved that the relative effect was large, determining the effect of rowing ergometer training. Third, in fatigue stress in obese men,an interactive effect was shown in terms of KOSS, but the control group showed a large relative effect, so the weight training effect was determined.
In conclusion, the rowing ergometer training proved to be suitable to to preventing obesity because its training treatment for 60 minutes 3 times a week for 8 weeks showed a positive effect on the body composition, vascular health, and fatigue stress of obese men. Therefore, it was concluded that the results of rowing ergometer training can be used as basic data for obesity exercise program development and educational data as the rowing ergometer training is an appropriate exercise program to promote the health in obese men.
