This study examined to elucidate the correlation between the composition of gut microbiota and efficacies of ginsenoside Rb1 (G-Rb1) and β-glucan (βG) to immune enhancement. Standard diet containing with G-Rb1 or βG were fed to mice ad libitum for 3 weeks. Composition of gut microbiota was investigated by metagenomic analysis before and after the feeding. Mice were categorized into the groups showed high and low immune enhancement (HI and LI) for G-Rb1 and βG, respectively.
