Because the Korean population is aging fast, the burden of long-term care is becoming an economical strain to the elderly and their families. It has been caused a negative impact on national health insurance financially. Many advanced countries encountered to these problems already, and introduced various types of long-term care system for the elderly. The aged long-term care insurance has been put into practice since July 2008 in Korea. However, the korean long-term care insurance has many problems. As a result of this analysis, the following solution has been led. First, the scope of beneficiaries need to be extended. Second, the facility infrastructure should be established. Third, long-term care insurance professionals should be monitored and reeducated. Fourth, ways to reduce the burden of the users and financial stability for the efficient long-term care insurance should be considered
