Faced with the impact aroused by the serious aging, social support for the elderly sits heavy on. In the meantime, the function of family support is getting degenerate. A lot of scholars bring forward that community support for the elderly should be strengthened and consummated. At the same time, the definition and the orientation of community support for the elderly have not been confirmed. Community support for the elderly is a indispensable the mode for the elderly with society transformation, as the important complement to social support and family support for the elderly. The most important point is about the foundation of community support for the elderly in family support system. At present, there are many problems in our country. We should enhance community support for the elderly in all aspects. Literature investigation is the leading way. The foundation of community support is a systematic project. What's the new point? Integrated expatiation to community support, and the introduction of social work and social worker to community support.
