The steel plate shear wall system is a lateral load resisting system and has higher strength and shear performance than the shear wall of concrete structures. Using corrugated steel plates in shear wall systems improves out-of-plane stiffness and flexibility in the deformation along the corrugation. However, various buckling behaviors are generated according to the corrugated shapes and it is difficult to predict the relationship between the corrugated shape and the shear buckling behavior. In this study, a cyclic loading test of the shallow corrugated steel plate was performed to evaluate the effects of shear buckling and structural performance of corrugated steel plate and the resistance force and energy dissipation capacity were compared according to the test results. The test results showed that the model with 15° angle between the horizontal panel and the slated panel had a greater accumulated energy than the model with 30° angle and the shape of the corrugated steel plate had a large effect on the generation of buckling and energy dissipation capacity.
