This paper aims to estimate the convergent population in South Korea, using time series method to project the future population of Korea focused on the variables such as population growth rate, GDP growth rate, the rate of technological process, immigrant population, and population density. This study is summarized as follows: First, the estimation by population growth rate uses the data from 0.1 % growth rate in 1985 to 0.0% in 2032 over 47 year for four countries of Europe in order to apply average 0.229% annual growth rate to South Korea so that the population of Korea will be 5,583 ten thousands. Second, the estimation by GDP growth rate applies total GDP and total population of 9 countries to Korea, and then the population is projected to become 5,628 in 2070. Third, the estimation by the rate of technological process forecasts by applying 2.35% of 2050 to Korea after comparing with three groups at which the rate is respectively Japan & Taiwan 1.54%, Europe's 6 countries 1.46%, United States 1.7%, and then the population of Korea of 2070 will be 5,717. Fourth, the estimation is conducted by forecasting 2050 Korea's population under both the assumption of 12.3% immigrations into Korea and gravity model between East Asia and World with using the center of GDP, and thus Korea will be 5,687. Fifth, the estimation also is committed by applying the ground's population density which is obtained from selected areas within China, Japan and Taiwan to Korea, and therefore Korea is forecasted to be 5,587. As considering five values together, the scope of convergent population in Korea is projected to be from 5,611 to 5,736 and the convergent population will be around 5,674 ten thousands.
